Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

  • Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya.
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Depending on your arrival time, you may have some time to explore Nairobi’s attractions like the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum.

Day 2-3: Masai Mara National Reserve

  • Drive or fly from Nairobi to the Masai Mara (approximately 5-6 hours by road, or a short flight).
  • Spend two days exploring the Masai Mara.
    • Enjoy game drives to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros) and other wildlife.
    • Witness the Great Wildebeest Migration (if visiting during migration season).
  • Stay at a lodge or tented camp inside or near the Masai Mara Reserve.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

  • Drive or fly from the Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park (approximately 4-5 hours by road, or a short flight).
  • Spend the afternoon and evening enjoying game drives in Amboseli.
  • Stay at a lodge or camp inside or near Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

  • Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park.
    • Look out for iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
    • Enjoy game drives to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife.
  • Stay overnight in Amboseli.

Day 6: Tsavo East National Park

  • Drive from Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park (approximately 4-5 hours).
  • Spend the afternoon on a game drive in Tsavo East.
  • Stay at a lodge or camp inside or near Tsavo East.

Day 7: Tsavo East National Park

  • Spend a full day exploring Tsavo East.
    • Visit the Galana River, Lugard Falls, and Aruba Dam.
    • Look out for the “red elephants” and diverse wildlife.
  • Stay overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 8: Tsavo West National Park

  • Drive from Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park (approximately 3-4 hours).
  • Spend the afternoon and evening enjoying game drives in Tsavo West.
  • Visit Mzima Springs and Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
  • Stay at a lodge or camp inside or near Tsavo West.

Day 9: Departure from Nairobi

  • Drive back to Nairobi (approximately 5-6 hours).
  • Depending on your departure time, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or exploration in Nairobi.
  • Depart from Nairobi.
