4-Day Tarangire & Lake Manyara Safari

Day 1: Arusha – Drive to Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours), known for its iconic baobab trees and large populations of elephants, giraffes, and big cats. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch inside the park, spotting wildlife near the Tarangire River. Later, proceed to your lodge or tented camp for check-in, sundowners, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Tarangire
Spend the day exploring the diverse habitats of Tarangire, where you may encounter buffalo, zebra, lion, and even leopard. The dry season draws animals to the riverbanks, offering spectacular viewing. Take a break for a picnic lunch or hot meal at the lodge before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to camp for a relaxed evening and stargazing around the fire.
Day 3: Tarangire – Drive to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic haven famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest. Upon entry, enjoy a game drive along the lakeshore and through woodlands, spotting monkeys, elephants, hippos, and diverse birdlife. Later, check in to your lodge near Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive or Cultural Visit – Return to Arusha
Optional early morning game drive or cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu village, known for its diverse cultures and local crafts. After brunch or lunch, drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
