Masai Mara National reserve is a picturesque wildlife sanctuary known for its beautiful landscape, wildlife e abundance and rich cultural experiences. Spot the big Five of Kenya; Lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard and the great wildebeest migration will be the icing on the cake during the months of July to August. It also boosts of over 450 bird species for all bird lovers. This is a must visit for all nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. You get to go for game drives ( safaris) walking safaris as well as an opportunity to visit the local people in their villages to learn about their culture and way of life.

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA

Pick up from a confirmed point either hotel or the airport and transferred to the departure point where you will start your safari. The safari starts at round 0800 hrs. with two stopover one at the viewpoint to witness the rift valley and the other at Narok town for the final shopping. Proceed to Maasai Mara Miti Mingi eco camp Eco camp in time for lunch. Later proceed for an evening introductory game drive where you familiarize yourself with the park surroundings, spot a few animals and witness the sun set. This marks the first day of your five days Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha safari Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

MAASAI MARA FULL DAY

Wake up very early and have your breakfast then proceed to the reserve. By 0630 hrs. you should be entering the park so as to maximize the full day safari as well as get a chance to witness the sun rise which is so beautiful and refreshing. During the full day game drive you have an option of seeing all the big five that is the buffalo, the leopard, the lion, the elephant as well as other small and large animals such as the topi antelope and the wild beast. During June to October you can have the opportunity to witness the great wild beast migration which happens once a year and is a phenomenal sight to see. You will have your picnic lunch at the Mara River where the migration takes place and have an opportunity to see the hippos and the crocodiles as they lazy around the river. You will later go to the Kenya-Tanzania boarder as you continue with game viewing till the sun sets. Return to the camp for diner and overnight

DAY 3: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Wake up a bit relaxed after the full day safari and have your breakfast. Check out of your rooms and go for the Maasai village experience to learn about their culture as well as see them dance and listen to their songs. They teach you how to light a fire without using matches. Later leave Masai Mara region for Nairobi arriving there in the afternoon.
